Palestinian factions and forces announced on Friday that they agreed during a meeting held in Cairo to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a temporary committee of technocrats from the region.
This was stated in a joint statement published via the "Telegram" platform by the "Hamas" movement, which participated in the meeting.
The statement added that during the meeting, which took place on Thursday, it was also agreed to call for an urgent national meeting involving all forces and factions to discuss a comprehensive national strategy and to activate the role of the Palestine Liberation Organization as the legitimate and sole representative of the Palestinian people.
