They found themselves in an exile with no freedom.. Displaced Palestinians recount their suffering after being released from the occupation's prisons.

145 Palestinians released as part of a prisoner exchange between Hamas and the occupation found themselves in exile inside a hotel in Cairo, instead of returning to their homes in the West Bank.

According to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza signed on October 10, all detainees held by the resistance were released in exchange for about 2000 Palestinian prisoners.

However, 154 prisoners serving life sentences were deported to Egypt, where they have been residing since mid-month in a luxury hotel, without identification papers or freedom of movement.
