The statements made by the extremist Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, which are offensive to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reveal the true face of the Zionist project based on arrogance, hostility, and discrimination.

When one of the symbols of this entity insults the brotherly Saudi people, it reflects not only a moral and political degradation but also a deep intellectual crisis that the Israeli occupation is experiencing after its colonial nature has been exposed in the region.

Smotrich's statements are an extension of a long-standing approach rooted in the racism inherent in Zionist thought, which sees itself as above the law and humanity, dealing with Arab and Islamic peoples with a logic of superiority and hatred.

What he expressed is not merely a slip of the tongue, but rather an expression of a sick mentality that derives its existence from the continuation of occupation, killing, and destruction, and seeks to export its internal crises by fabricating crises and launching insults against free countries and peoples.

The targeting of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—given its weight in the Arab, Islamic, and international arenas—is not a coincidence, but rather a desperate attempt to undermine its honorable historical positions in supporting Palestinian rights and rejecting the policies of extermination and ethnic cleansing practiced by Israel against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip and other occupied territories.

The Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his trustworthy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has always been a fundamental pillar in defending Arab rights and a source of unwavering political and humanitarian support for Palestine and its people.

These insults, no matter how blatant, will not diminish the status of the Kingdom, nor will they lessen the depth of the brotherly ties that bind the Saudi and Palestinian peoples; rather, they will increase Arab and Islamic awareness of the dangers of the Zionist project and its plans based on spreading discord and contempt for peoples.

Therefore, the true response to this extremist rhetoric should not be limited to verbal condemnation, but should involve unifying the Arab and Islamic stance and strengthening the political and moral front in confronting the entity that thrives on creating enmity and tension.

It is high time for the international community to take responsibility for curbing this racist approach that threatens not only the security of the region but also undermines the chances of achieving just and lasting peace within it.

Smotrich and those like him, who delude themselves into thinking they possess power, do not realize that free peoples—foremost among them the Saudi and Palestinian peoples—possess something far greater: the belief in the justice of their cause and the determination to confront falsehood no matter how tyrannical it becomes.
