Urgent "Agreement on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip"

The ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip has entered its third year, and many Western countries, led by the European Union, still refuse to officially recognize the genocide while continuing their economic and security partnerships and exporting various weapons that devastate the Palestinian people for the occupation.

From the very first day of the genocide, officials in these countries and their media arms rushed to adopt the Israeli narrative. When civilians are targeted, massacres are committed, and schools and hospitals are bombed, the situation is marketed as legitimate military targets.

When children are killed and dismembered, and entire families are erased from the civil registry, there is no mention of them in news broadcasts or newspaper headlines. When victims become mere numbers, the figures are questioned because they come from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza!

They have made every effort and continue to do so to portray the occupation as a victim, claiming that October 7, 2023, is the beginning of the whole story. The undeniable truth is that the story began more than a hundred years ago when Balfour, who had no right, gave a homeland in Palestine to those who did not deserve it.

The British mandate imposed on Palestine came to fulfill this promise, and since then, the Palestinian people have barely emerged from one catastrophe before entering another.

Today, we witness a continuous massacre that has entered its third year, recorded in history books as unprecedented.

The West and its media have deliberately ignored the plight of the Palestinian people, promoting the narrative of the occupation, which is based on a biblical vision that considers the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip as 'the Amalekites of our time' who deserve death.

Just weeks ago, after hunger devastated women, children, the sick, and the elderly, there was a shift in the West's supportive stance towards the occupation at the level of some governments and media outlets.

This subtle change came too late, allowing the occupation to commit genocide. It is not a moral awakening but rather a response to popular pressure and international reports documenting the details of the genocide on a daily basis.

The ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip has exposed the international community, which has stood helpless in the face of the arrogance of the occupation and its supporters from the colonial West led by the United States.
