West Bank.. Palestinian injured by Israeli army gunfire near Jerusalem

A Palestinian was injured by Israeli army gunfire near occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday evening, coinciding with clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces near the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated in a brief announcement that its teams transported to the hospital "a live bullet injury to the thigh in the town of Al-Ram near Jerusalem," without providing further details.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in a statement regarding the same case that "a serious injury from the occupation's gunfire to the thigh arrived at the Palestine Medical Complex (in Ramallah) from the town of Al-Ram, and he was admitted to the operating rooms."

The official Palestinian news agency reported that clashes erupted between Palestinians and the Israeli army during a raid on the village of Burin south of Nablus.

It added that "occupation army vehicles stormed the village, leading to clashes with the youth, during which occupation soldiers fired live bullets at citizens and their property."

Alongside the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have killed at least 1,049 Palestinians and injured about 10,300, in addition to arresting more than 20,000, including around 1,600 children.
