United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights: The occupation violates the rights of Palestinian children on a daily basis.

The United Nations Office for Human Rights in the occupied Palestinian territory (OCHA) stated today, Tuesday, that the detention of two children by Israeli occupation forces for nearly 30 minutes in Hebron once again demonstrates the cruelty that Palestinians, including children, endure daily on the ground.

Israeli forces detained the two brothers, Muhammad and Abdul Fattah Ayman Al-Kurki (6 and 8 years old), yesterday, Monday, while they were playing football near their home in the old city of Hebron.

The United Nations Office for Human Rights confirmed in a statement that "the rights of Palestinian children to life, health, education, freedom of movement, and others are violated daily. Every day, children are killed, injured, or arbitrarily detained by Israeli forces in the occupied Palestinian territory."
