A number of Palestinians were injured on Saturday evening in scattered attacks carried out by Israeli settlers, while Palestinian sources announced the establishment of a new settlement outpost in the northern occupied West Bank.
A Palestinian source stated that a young Palestinian was injured after being run over by an Israeli settler near the village of Luban al-Sharqiya, south of the city of Nablus, in the northern West Bank. The young man, Mahmoud Ahmed Oweis (21 years old), was transferred to the Consultative Hospital in Ramallah.
In the south of Nablus city, settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles on the road adjacent to the "Yitzhar" settlement, causing damage to several of them.
In the northern West Bank, sources reported that settlers established a new settlement outpost on the lands of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit city, where they set up tents on a piece of land estimated to be 44 dunams.
In the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, residents of the village managed to expel a group of settlers after they attempted to invade the village's lands and attack citizens' properties, leading to clashes that resulted in several residents suffering from suffocation.
The Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,046 Palestinians, and injuring about 10,160, in addition to the arrest of more than 19,000.
Violent clashes erupted on the outskirts of the village after the youth confronted the settlers' attack.
