Political sources affiliated with the occupation revealed to Hebrew media that the White House is working on formulating a plan to establish a temporary administration in the Gaza Strip headed by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, with the Palestinian Authority being excluded from participation in the initial phase.
According to details previously reported by Hebrew media and confirmed by an Arab source to Hebrew media, the American plan includes the formation of an international body to oversee the administration of the sector and its reconstruction for several coming years.
The proposed plan stipulates the deployment of a multinational international force in the Gaza Strip during the transitional period, with the mission of this force being to guard the borders of the sector and prevent any attempt by Hamas to re-establish its military or political presence there.
The plan is still taking shape, but it has the full support of the American president.
