An emergency session of the United Nations Security Council was held on Tuesday regarding the Palestinian issue, with Arab calls for an "immediate" halt to the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip for nearly two years.
The emergency session of the Security Council was convened under the agenda item "The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question" at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, delivered a speech on behalf of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, emphasizing that "what is happening in the sector is nothing but a living example of genocide and ethnic cleansing."
