Israeli Channel 12 reported that American officials stated President Donald Trump and his Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, will present tomorrow, Tuesday, to a number of Arab and Muslim leaders the principles of an American plan aimed at ending the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
The channel reported, citing an Israeli official, that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will discuss the details of this plan with Trump during a meeting at the White House, noting that Netanyahu is aware of parts of it and that Israel may have to accept some of its provisions.
The sources explained to the Israeli channel that the American plan includes details on "ending the war, releasing all prisoners, Israel's withdrawal, and who will manage the Gaza Strip."
Israeli media had reported that Trump will discuss with leaders of several Arab and Islamic countries tomorrow the Israeli war on Gaza, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.
Channel 12 reported that two Israeli sources, described as knowledgeable, stated that "Trump's invitation was extended to the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey, to discuss developments in Gaza and ways to halt the escalation."
The anticipated meeting coincides with Netanyahu's trip to Washington tomorrow, where he will meet Trump at the White House, as previously announced, without specifying the time of the meeting.
Since October 7, 2023, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in 65,283 martyrs and 166,575 injured, most of whom are children and women, and a famine that has killed 442 Palestinians, including 147 children.
