Palestine: Silence on the expiration of the International Court's deadline for Israel is international complicity.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Friday that the international silence regarding the expiration of the legal deadline for implementing the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice concerning the end of the Israeli occupation amounts to 'complicity.'

The deadline set by the United Nations General Assembly for Israel to comply with the advisory opinion issued by the Court and to end its illegal presence as an occupying power in the Palestinian territories expired on September 18, 2024.

The ministry clarified that the deadline ended 'without any real and effective stance from the international system and the United Nations, especially the Security Council.'
