Israeli Channel 12 announced the death of two Israelis in a shooting incident at the Allenby Bridge near the border with Jordan.

Channel 14 clarified that the suspect in this incident infiltrated in a truck carrying aid coming from Jordan and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of two Israelis.

The Israeli Army Radio revealed that the perpetrator of the attack at the Allenby Bridge was a retired Jordanian soldier who was driving a truck and carried out the shooting from point-blank range, as well as a stabbing attack, without providing further details.

The Jordanian Public Security announced the suspension of passenger movement across the King Hussein Bridge (referred to as Allenby by Israel) after it was closed from the other side.
