An elderly woman was suffocated today, Thursday, due to inhaling tear gas, and four citizens were arrested during the Israeli occupation forces' raid on several areas in Hebron Governorate.
Our correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces attacked the home of the Masalmeh family near the military tower established on citizens' land in the town of Beit Awwa south of Hebron, firing tear gas canisters inside the house and assaulting those inside, which led to the elderly woman Zahra Masalmeh suffering from suffocation and being transferred to a hospital for treatment, before her son Mazhar Awad Abdul Mahdi was arrested.
Security sources added that the occupation forces raided the town of Sa'ir northeast of Hebron and arrested Nayef Hijazi Jaradat, Nabil Hijazi Jaradat, and his son Muhammad, after searching their homes and tampering with their contents.
In the town of Idna to the west, the occupation forces stormed several homes of the Al-Jiawi family, searched them, and destroyed their contents, with no arrests reported.
Media activist Muhammad Awad stated that the Israeli occupation forces raided the Beit Ummar municipality building to the north, detained several employees, prevented them from reaching their workplaces, confiscated a drone belonging to the engineering department, and summoned three employees for interrogation by the occupation intelligence.
