Two deaths due to famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours.

Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded two deaths due to famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours.

Thus, the total number of deaths from famine and malnutrition has risen to 422, including 145 children.

Since the announcement by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), 144 deaths have been recorded, including 30 children.

It is noted that at every moment, cases of malnutrition and famine are reaching hospitals in Gaza, where 900,000 children are suffering from hunger, 70,000 of whom have entered the stage of malnutrition.

It is worth mentioning that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had warned that malnutrition among children under five had doubled between March and June due to the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
