Widespread condemnations in the Security Council for Qatar's attack.. and America justifies while the occupation renews its threats.

The United Nations Security Council held an emergency session tonight to discuss the Israeli attack on Qatar. The session took place in New York with the presence of the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and witnessed condemnations from the United Nations and most member states of the council regarding the Israeli attack, along with praises for Doha's mediation efforts to end the war in Gaza and its contributions to peace.

Many delegates stated that the Israeli bombardment aimed to undermine the efforts of mediators seeking to end the war in Gaza. For her part, Rosemary DiCarlo, the UN Under-Secretary-General, said that the Israeli strike shocked the world and constitutes a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

This attack was described as a concerning escalation, especially since it targeted individuals who were gathered to discuss the latest American proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza. Meanwhile, the UK representative to the Security Council, Barbara Woodward, stated that her country clearly condemns the Israeli strikes on Doha and fully stands in solidarity with Qatar.

Woodward also described the Israeli attack as a blatant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and a warning of further escalation in the region, noting that Qatar has always been a mediator for peace in the Middle East. For his part, French representative Jérôme Bonaventure condemned the Israeli attack, affirming that it represents a flagrant violation of international law, welcoming Qatar's tireless efforts to mediate an end to the war in Gaza.

The Chinese representative, Fu Tsung, described the attacks on Doha as a blatant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and international law, emphasizing that targeting the Hamas delegation in the Qatari capital reflects bad faith, irresponsibility, and a determination to sabotage negotiations.

The Russian representative, Vasily Nebenzya, condemned the Israeli attack on a residential area in Doha, noting that the bombardment occurred just 600 meters away from the Russian mission's headquarters. Nebenzya stated that the Israeli strike targeted the efforts of mediators and will have serious repercussions.

In contrast, Dorothy Shea, the acting US representative, stated that what happened does not serve the goals of Israel or America. Shea added that despite the painful nature of the incident, President Donald Trump believes it could be an opportunity for peace, as he expressed.

She continued that Trump assured the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani that such an incident would not be repeated on Qatari soil. For his part, the Israeli representative at the Security Council stated that Hamas leaders were the sole target of the occupation's attack in Doha.

He added that there is no immunity for terrorists or those who support them, stating that they have no immunity whether they are in a tunnel or a hotel, according to him. He continued that Qatar must now choose either to condemn Hamas and expel it or Israel will do so.

He added that the occupation's bombardment of Doha conveys that there is no safe haven for terrorists anywhere, neither in Gaza nor in Tehran nor in Doha, as he said. For his part, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman stated that the Israeli government is rogue, driven by hatred, and sees itself above the law.

He added that the rogue Israeli government leaves no opportunity to fuel conflict, spread chaos, and generalize violence. He pointed out that in a blatant violation of international law, Israel violated Qatar's sovereignty and launched a cowardly attack on its capital.

He clarified that the Israeli government lies in all its justifications for betraying Qatar after all it has done to stop the war. He continued that Israel betrayed a country that works tirelessly with Egypt and the United States to reach a prisoner exchange deal.
