Netanyahu signs the (E1) plan to expand the settlements surrounding occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed the (E1) plan this evening, Thursday, to expand the settlements established on the lands of the West Bank and surrounding occupied Jerusalem.

This colonial plan aims to isolate occupied Jerusalem from its Palestinian surroundings, severing the geographical and demographic connection between Jerusalem and Palestinian communities, and undermining the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The plan also seeks to expand the borders of East Jerusalem by annexing the colonial bloc of "Ma'ale Adumim" to it, which will lead to the displacement and uprooting of the residents of the Bedouin communities once again from their lands, in exchange for an increase in the number of settlers in Jerusalem at the expense of the original Palestinian citizens.
