European Commission Vice President Teresa Ribera said on Thursday that Israel's war in Gaza represents genocide.
Ribera added at the opening ceremony of the academic year at the Political Science University in Paris that the genocide in Gaza reveals Europe's failure to act and speak with one voice, even as protests spread across European cities.
She noted that 14 members of the United Nations Security Council are calling for an immediate ceasefire.
