Dead and wounded in intensive Israeli airstrikes on the tents of displaced people in Gaza.

A number of Palestinians were killed and injured due to intensive airstrikes carried out by the occupation's drones and fighter jets on the Gaza Strip, particularly targeting the Khan Younis area and the city of Gaza. Since dawn on Wednesday, the occupation army has continued its violent bombardment, leading to the destruction of many Palestinian homes.

Kuwait Field Hospital confirmed the death of 3 Palestinians, including a woman and a child, as a result of an Israeli drone strike on the tents of displaced persons west of Khan Younis. The Nasser Medical Complex also reported the death of 3 other Palestinians in a similar strike on a tent for displaced persons in the Asda area northwest of Khan Younis.

In a related context, a number of displaced persons were injured inside their tents due to the occupation's forces firing towards the regional area southwest of Khan Younis, exacerbating the suffering of civilians in this area that is enduring continuous destruction.

The occupation's fighter jets also launched strikes on central Khan Younis, while there were no reports of martyrs or injuries from those strikes. In the southern part of the Strip, Israeli artillery targeted areas where displaced persons were gathering in the city of Rafah, increasing chaos and panic among the residents.

In Gaza City, ambulance and emergency services reported injuries to several Palestinians from an Israeli drone strike on a tent for displaced persons in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed the martyrdom of two Palestinians in an Israeli artillery strike on a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood.

Israeli airstrikes continued on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza, where Israeli artillery bombarded the vicinity of the Islamic Complex in the Al-Sabra neighborhood south of the city. The occupation army also detonated a booby-trapped robot in the Al-Zarqa area to the north, increasing tensions in the region.

In the northern part of the Strip, the Israeli army demolished homes in Jabalia Al-Nazla and its aircraft conducted strikes on the Al-Shafta area. These attacks come at a sensitive time as Palestinians are suffering from harsh conditions due to the ongoing aggression.

It is worth noting that the Israeli attacks that took place yesterday, Tuesday, resulted in the martyrdom of about 60 Palestinians, including children and women, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian disaster experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip. These attacks continue to target tents of displaced persons, aid seekers, and civilian gatherings.

With American support, the occupying state has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

The Israeli genocide has so far resulted in 62,819 martyrs and 158,629 injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, leading to a famine that has claimed the lives of 303 Palestinians, including 117 children.
