High security tension.. Occupation forces, especially, storm the center of Ramallah and launch a campaign of arrests.

In a surprising escalation, an Israeli special force known as 'Mistaravim' stormed the center of Ramallah this Tuesday morning, leading to violent clashes with dozens of Palestinian youths. Witnesses reported that the special force infiltrated using civilian vehicles with Palestinian license plates and quickly spread in the area of Al-Manara Square and the surrounding commercial streets.

The operation began in the early morning hours, as the special forces surrounded several residential buildings and shops in the area. According to Palestinian security sources, the aim of the incursion was to arrest a number of youths wanted by the occupying authorities. The forces raided several homes and arrested at least three youths, amidst heavy gunfire and the use of sound bombs and tear gas.

The incursion caused panic and confusion in the city, which is considered the administrative capital of the Palestinians. Upon discovering the infiltration of the special force, dozens of Palestinian youths took to the streets, throwing stones and empty bottles at the occupying forces that had entered the area to secure the withdrawal of the special force.

The occupying forces responded by firing rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas heavily, resulting in several youths suffering from cases of suffocation and bruises. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams dealt with several injuries in the field.

National and popular activities in Ramallah condemned this incursion, considering it a dangerous escalation and a blatant violation of signed agreements. They pointed out that storming the heart of Ramallah, which houses the main offices of the Palestinian Authority, carries a provocative political message aimed at undermining the authority and demonstrating absolute Israeli control over all areas of the occupied West Bank.
