Albanese calls for punishing Israel and breaking the siege on Gaza.

The UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, condemned the targeting of the Nasser Medical Complex by the occupying army and called for sanctions on arms deals with Israel. She noted that such scenes are constantly repeated, often occurring out of sight.

In a post on the X platform, Albanese questioned the international community's patience regarding these massacres, emphasizing the need for immediate intervention to stop the ongoing assaults on Palestinians. She called for breaking the Israeli blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Albanese also accused the occupation of killing children and starving millions, pointing out that the intention of the occupation is to 'erase the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.' These statements come at a sensitive time as Palestinians face catastrophic humanitarian conditions.

Earlier, Albanese called for charges to be brought against senior EU officials, including the President of the European Commission, for complicity in war crimes due to their support for the occupation during its aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Today, the occupying army bombed the emergency building in the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of several Palestinians, including journalists. This attack is part of the genocide being perpetrated by the occupation since October 7.

Reports indicate that the Israeli genocide has resulted in 62,686 martyrs and 157,951 injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to over 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced.

Famine continues in the Gaza Strip, where 300 Palestinians have died due to food shortages, including 117 children, reflecting the tragic humanitarian conditions that Palestinians live under the blockade.
