The occupation continues its siege and aggression on the village of Al-Mughayer for the third consecutive day.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their extensive aggression against the village of al-Mughayer, located northeast of Ramallah, for the third consecutive day. The village is witnessing raids and destruction of property, which increases the suffering of its residents.

The Deputy Head of the al-Mughayer Village Council, Marzouk Abu Naim, reported that the occupation forces raided more than 30 homes since dawn today, accompanied by threats and provocations from the soldiers, in addition to the destruction of property and attacks on citizens' vehicles through smashing and vandalism.

Abu Naim also added that the occupation bulldozers continue to carve out a colonial road from the 'Al-Rafid' area to the 'Qalason' area. This work has led to the destruction of thousands of dunams planted with olive trees, as they have been completely cleared.

He pointed out that the occupation began two days ago to raze the eastern plain of al-Mughayer, which borders the colonial 'Alon' road, most of which is planted with olive trees, reflecting the occupation's policy of destroying the natural resources of the Palestinians.

It is noteworthy that hundreds of citizens have been forced to spend the night in neighboring villages due to repeated assaults on the village and its properties, as entry and exit from the village has been prohibited, including ambulances.

The occupation forces closed the entrances to the village last Thursday, preventing citizens from entering or exiting, and forced shop owners to close their doors, limiting the movement of citizens within the village.

The villagers have also been threatened by Zionist settlers via mobile phones, where they were threatened with death and destruction, increasing the state of terror and fear among the residents.

In a related context, last year saw the extremist Ben Gvir setting up his tent at the eastern entrance of al-Mughayer, where he incited attacks on the village, demanding the expulsion of its residents and the demolition and razing of all homes and lands.
