Smotrich warns Netanyahu: Our party will leave the government coalition if a partial agreement is signed with Hamas.

The right-wing finance minister in the Israeli occupation government, Bezalel Smotrich, stated that he informed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that his party would not remain in the government coalition if he decided to proceed with a partial agreement with Hamas. These statements come at a sensitive time as tensions in the region are escalating.

Smotrich, who is considered one of the prominent figures in the right-wing government, indicated that the security incident that occurred today in Khan Younis is a direct result of policies that encourage Hamas to carry out kidnappings against occupation soldiers and settlers.

In his comments on the incident, Smotrich warned of the significant risks that may arise from continuing to succumb to the blackmail practiced by Hamas. He emphasized the need for strict measures to eliminate the threat posed by the movement to the occupation entity.

Smotrich's statements come at a critical time, as the occupation seeks to achieve security stability amid increasing tensions. These statements have sparked varied reactions within Israeli political circles.

It is noteworthy that Smotrich is not the only one expressing concern over any agreement with Hamas, as voices within the Israeli government are increasingly calling for a more hardline stance towards the movement.

All eyes are now on Netanyahu, who will face significant challenges in making decisions that could affect the stability of his government, especially amid internal and external pressures.
