Today, Sunday, settlers attacked the home of citizen Muhammad Abayat in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah. This assault comes as part of a series of violations faced by Palestinians in their areas.
Local sources reported that a group of settlers stormed the house in the eastern area, where they attempted to assault the citizen and cause material damage to the place. These attacks reflect the rising violence by settlers against Palestinians.
When the citizens confronted this assault, they bravely resisted the settlers, forcing them to withdraw to the new settlement outpost established on Jabal al-Ras. This resistance reflects the spirit of defiance among Palestinians.
This attack comes at a sensitive time, as the occupation forces continue to arrest Palestinians in the area. This morning, Sunday, they arrested brothers Adam and Adham Muhammad Muslih from the village, further increasing the suffering of the residents.
Attacks by settlers in the occupied West Bank are escalating, necessitating international action to protect the rights of Palestinians and stop these ongoing violations.
