The Israeli army approves the "central idea" of the plan to occupy Gaza.

The Chief of Staff of the occupying army, Ayal Zamir, approved on Wednesday the "central idea" of the plan to occupy the Gaza Strip, which includes attacks on the Zaitoun area south of Gaza City. This came during a meeting that included leaders from the General Staff and the "Shabak" security agency, along with other commanders.

According to a statement published by the spokesperson for the occupying army, Avichai Adraee, the meeting reviewed what he described as the "achievements" of his forces, including the ongoing aggression against the Zaitoun neighborhood east of the city, which began on Tuesday.

Adraee noted that the plan adopted by Zamir comes in accordance with directives from the political level, indicating coordination between the army and the government in executing these aggressive operations.

He also mentioned that the Chief of Staff directed to raise the readiness of the forces and prepare to call up reserve troops, in addition to conducting field exercises, indicating the occupying army's readiness for further escalation in the coming days.

These developments come at a sensitive time, as the aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip continues, increasing the suffering of civilians and emphasizing the urgent need for international intervention to stop these violations.
