In the early hours of Wednesday, the Israeli army committed a new massacre in the Gaza Strip, killing 9 Palestinians, including 7 from one family, as part of the ongoing aggression it has been waging against the enclave for 22 months.
According to medical sources and eyewitnesses, the shelling targeted tents of displaced persons and gatherings of civilians who were waiting for humanitarian aid in Gaza City and central Gaza.
The Abu Hanidq family was among the victims, with 7 of its members, including 5 children and a woman, killed as a result of the shelling that targeted their tents on Street 8 in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
Another Palestinian was killed while waiting for aid near the Netzarim junction, and another in the al-Mawrag area in southern Gaza.
The occupying state continues to commit these crimes with American support, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop the aggression.
The genocide being perpetrated by Israel since October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of 61,599 Palestinians and the injury of 154,088 others, most of whom are children and women.
Additionally, there are more than 9,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, amid a famine that has caused the deaths of 227 people, including 103 children.
These crimes continue in the face of complete international silence, raising questions about the fate of Palestinian civilians under these harsh conditions.
The genocide being committed by the Israeli army has been ongoing for 22 months, targeting innocent civilians.
