Thirteen citizens were martyred and others were injured this evening, Monday, in an Israeli occupation bombardment on the Gaza Strip. The occupation forces targeted those waiting for humanitarian aid in the Sudanese area in the northwest of the strip.
The bombardment resulted in the death of eight citizens who were waiting for aid, in addition to five other martyrs who fell due to the occupation's shelling of a group of citizens next to Al-Bashir pharmacy in the Hakar Al-Jami' area in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the Al-Saraya field hospital received about 30 injuries from those waiting for humanitarian aid in the northern strip, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian disaster that citizens are suffering from.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of 61,499 citizens, most of whom are children and women, and the injury of 153,575 others.
The mentioned toll is considered preliminary, as there are still a number of victims under the rubble and in the streets, and rescue teams cannot reach them due to the ongoing aggression.
This escalation comes amid harsh humanitarian conditions experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip, who are suffering from a severe shortage of food and medical supplies, exacerbating their daily suffering.
