The death of 5 citizens and the injury of more than 40 others due to the occupation's shelling on Rafah
A number of citizens were killed and others were injured today, Wednesday, as a result of the shelling and gunfire from the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip. A medical source reported the death of at least five citizens and the injury of more than forty others with varying degrees of wounds.
The occupation directly targeted a number of aid seekers north of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of several of them, in addition to the martyrdom of a young man by Israeli occupation fire near the aid center in the "Netzarim" area in the middle of the Strip.
A girl was also martyred by gunfire from an occupation drone in the tunnel street in Gaza City, in a dangerous escalation that threatens the lives of civilians and increases the suffering of the population in the Strip.
Israeli assaults on residential and civilian areas are recurring, exacerbating the state of tension and leading to more martyrs and injured, amid the ongoing siege and aggression on the Strip.
