Occupation injures 3 Palestinians in Ramallah and arrests a journalist in Hebron

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the number of injured has risen to three Palestinians, due to the Israeli occupation army firing live ammunition during its incursion into the Al-Am'ari camp south of Ramallah. The Red Crescent clarified that the occupation forces prevented its crews from reaching the injured and stationed themselves at the entrance of the main headquarters of the organization on Al-Quds Street near the camp.

The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that three citizens, including a child, were injured by live ammunition during the occupation forces' incursion into the Al-Am'ari camp in the city of Al-Bireh. Local sources indicated that a special force from the occupation army stormed the camp before pushing military vehicles to its entrance and fired live ammunition, resulting in the injury of two young men and a child.

Later, the Red Crescent confirmed that its crews managed to transport a nine-year-old child who was shot in the back, in addition to two young men who were shot in the thigh. Sources indicated that the injuries were a result of gunfire from the occupation forces during the incursion.

In another development, the occupation forces arrested journalist Farah Abu Ayash from her home in the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, according to local sources. This step has sparked widespread condemnation among media and human rights circles, which considered the arrest a serious escalation against Palestinian journalism and evidence of the occupation's targeting of media personnel.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Tamoun south of Tubas and arrested a number of Palestinians during raids in the town of Burqin west of Jenin, amid a heavy presence of military vehicles. The occupation forces continue their aggression on Tulkarem, as they continue to target the city and its camp for the 191st consecutive day, and for the 178th day on the Nur Shams camp, with military reinforcements and intensive movements of infantry and vehicles in the neighborhoods.

This escalation has resulted in the displacement of more than 25,000 Palestinians, and the martyrdom of 14 of them, including a child and two women, in addition to the complete destruction of more than a thousand housing units and partial destruction of another thousand, amid a complete absence of normal life in the camps, according to Wafa agency.

In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation authorities forced the Jerusalemite citizen Amjad Amira to evacuate his home in the town of Sur Baher, in preparation for its demolition as part of the policy of forced demolitions affecting dozens of Palestinian homes. Israeli assaults are escalating in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 1,200 Palestinians and the injury of about 7,000, in addition to the arrest of more than 18,000 Palestinians, according to official Palestinian data.
