British Spy Planes Over Gaza Strip.. "Transmitting Results to Israel"

British government sources revealed that special spy planes belonging to the Royal Air Force are conducting regular flights over the Gaza Strip, aimed at gathering accurate intelligence about the movements of ground forces and Israeli captives, and transmitting the results of these operations to Israel.

The newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that these flights began at the start of the war in October 2023 and are carried out almost daily, focusing on monitoring the movements of convoys, streets, and residential buildings, with the aim of identifying the locations of Israeli captives held in the strip.

The British newspaper "The Times" explained that the British Air Force is using advanced Shadow "R1" aircraft, equipped with high-precision electro-optical and electronic sensors, which can comprehensively scan areas and accurately target specific movements.

Shadow aircraft are among the most advanced spy planes, capable of gathering vital information that assists in search operations for captives and providing immediate intelligence support to Israel, despite the diplomatic tensions between London and Jerusalem, especially after Britain announced its intention to recognize the State of Palestine.

Sources indicated that the last mission of a Shadow aircraft was from the Akrotiri base in Cyprus, before returning to the United Kingdom, without specifying the final destination for current or upcoming reconnaissance missions, amid ongoing ambiguity regarding the extent of Britain's direct involvement in ground military operations.

The British Ministry of Defense confirmed the continuation of reconnaissance flights over Gaza, despite no flights being recorded in recent days, clarifying that the planes that returned to the United Kingdom have not had their missions officially defined yet.

In a related context, monitoring data showed that Britain continues to provide intelligence support to Israel, despite political tensions, as British forces continue to assist Tel Aviv in locating captives and providing vital real-time information.

In light of these developments, the far-left in Britain criticized the intelligence support provided to Israel and attacked the presence of British planes in the region, as activists from the "Action for Palestine" movement stormed a British airbase in June, destroying military equipment, considering that this reflects the extent of British involvement in supporting the Israeli occupation.

This action led to a ban on the movement's activities, amid rising local and international criticism regarding Britain's participation in information-gathering operations for Israel, especially amid the ongoing military escalation in Gaza and the deterioration of humanitarian conditions there.
