A New Military Plan for the Occupation in Gaza.. This is the Scenario for Dealing with Hamas Abroad
Israel is preparing for a full ground invasion of the Gaza Strip and the elimination of Hamas leaders abroad, as part of a decisive military plan.
Channel 14 reported that Benjamin Netanyahu's government has approved a military plan that includes a complete ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, along with assassination operations targeting Hamas leaders abroad, following the definitive failure of prisoner exchange negotiations. According to Hebrew sources, the Israeli security cabinet is expected to hold a crucial session this week to discuss a plan aimed at militarily subjugating Gaza and completely eliminating Hamas, including the assassination of its leaders inside and outside the territory.
In the context of escalation, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Occupation Army, Eyal Zamir, toured the city of Gaza to inspect the fighting forces of the 162nd Division, and issued clear threats to Hamas leadership abroad, confirming that they are not safe from danger. Zamir stated: "I expect that we will know in the coming days whether we will be able to reach a partial agreement for the release of the prisoners, or if we will continue fighting without pause."
He pointed to the achievements made by the Israeli army as part of Operation Gideon's Chariots, saying: "You have achieved remarkable and unprecedented accomplishments in crushing the enemy and destroying Hamas's infrastructure above and below ground." He noted that the war will continue, and operations will adapt to the changing reality in a way that serves Israel's interests, with operational flexibility allowing for precise offensive operations based on intelligence, targeting Hamas systematically until the set objectives are achieved.
Zamir confirmed that clearing the contact lines in the areas controlled by the occupation in Gaza has created a security space that allows for operational opportunities, including strong defense of settlements and the ability to carry out multiple offensive operations. He explained that the military effort relies on intelligence, accuracy in fire, and maneuvering, aiming to reduce the depletion of Israeli forces and avoid falling into Hamas traps.
In the context of the political situation, Maariv newspaper indicated that Israel is facing a critical situation in recent days, as the imbalance at the political level leads to one of its largest strategic failures, especially in achieving its goals of releasing the fifty hostages and removing Hamas from Gaza. It clarified that the Israeli army has two plans to continue fighting, including surrounding the city of Gaza and intensifying air and naval bombardment, targeting buildings and areas in the city with heavy fire.
The report also indicated that the Mossad is avoiding dealing with Hamas abroad and is making little effort regarding the "Hamas abroad" issue, which has forced the Shin Bet to establish a special unit to confront the movement outside Palestine, which is unusual. Sources confirmed that Hamas leaders considered targets for assassination continue to move freely throughout the Middle East and Europe, posing a significant challenge for Israel in executing decisive operations across all fronts.
In conclusion, sources emphasized that Tel Aviv needs responsible leadership, professional decisions, and the execution of decisive operations in the military and political field to ensure the achievement of its goals in confronting Hamas and beyond.
