Hebrew Media: Netanyahu is Considering a "Military Solution" to Retrieve Hostages in Gaza

Hebrew media reports have revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently considering a military option to retrieve the remaining Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip, as diplomatic efforts to achieve this have stalled. An Israeli official told ABC News that the government is moving towards expanding military operations in the region, using force to achieve this goal.

The Israeli official indicated that there is an increasing consensus within the Israeli cabinet that Hamas is not interested in reaching an agreement, and that the military solution is the only option left. He explained that Netanyahu has proposed expanding military operations, considering it the only way to free the hostages, given the ongoing failure to reach diplomatic understandings.

In a related context, the official confirmed that there is ongoing dialogue between Israeli and American officials regarding this option, and that all possibilities are being studied carefully. This comes at a time when internal pressures on Netanyahu's government are escalating, especially after massive protests in Tel Aviv demanding an end to the war and the return of the hostages.

In a speech to the demonstrators, Eli David, who is believed to have a brother among the hostages, stated, "They are on the brink of death, and under the current circumstances, they may have only a few days left to live." Popular and political calls to end the war and find a quick solution to save the hostages are escalating amid the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the region.
