Trump describes the war in Gaza as not genocide

Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated during his remarks to reporters before boarding the presidential plane in Pennsylvania that the ongoing war in Gaza is not a genocide, adding that the situation there is different from statements that talk about the complete extermination of the Palestinian people.

Trump added that there are many confusions regarding the nature of the military operations carried out by the occupying army, emphasizing that what is happening is an armed conflict and not genocide, and that it is important to understand the context accurately before making judgments.

He continued that statements talking about genocide could lead to escalating tensions, and that the international community must closely monitor the situation to ensure that matters do not escalate to undesirable outcomes.

In this context, Trump pointed out that political solutions are still possible, and that dialogue is the only way to permanently end the conflict, expressing hope that the concerned parties will take steps towards peace.
