A humanitarian message from air and land: the UAE and Jordan carry out a new air drop and continue to send aid to Gaza.

In a scene that embodies active Arab solidarity and organized humanitarian work, the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan carried out a new joint air drop operation on Wednesday to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, as the pace of the humanitarian disaster within the besieged enclave accelerates.

The operation was part of a precise coordination between the Royal Jordanian Air Force and the UAE Air Force, using two C-130 aircraft, in collaboration with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization. A total of 16 tons of food supplies and baby formula were dropped in various areas of Gaza, bringing the total amount of aid airdropped in recent days to approximately 73 tons.

These operations reflect a part of the qualitative and exceptional efforts made by the UAE and Jordan to support the resilience of the Palestinians, amid the ongoing suffocating blockade and the complete collapse of the food and medical supply system, making this aid a lifeline for the besieged civilians.

According to official figures, the Jordanian Armed Forces have conducted 130 air drop operations to date, alongside 270 other operations carried out with the participation of Arab and foreign countries, as part of an integrative initiative aimed at delivering aid to those in need despite the complexities of the field situation.

In parallel with the air support, the UAE continued its ground efforts, with 58 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip today through various land crossings, carrying food, medical, and relief supplies as part of a comprehensive support plan.

This step is part of an ongoing Emirati project to extend water lines from desalination plants, aimed at alleviating the water crisis faced by residents amid widespread destruction of infrastructure and the failure of most essential services.

This joint Emirati-Jordanian initiative not only provides assistance but also sends a clear message that effective solidarity does not require slogans, but rather tangible actions and urgent field responses, at a time when shocking figures from Gaza race against time.
