The US State Department announced that the United States and 12 allied countries condemned "increasing threats" from Iranian intelligence agencies in their countries, in a joint statement issued Thursday.
The statement, issued by the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, Albania, Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden, added: “We stand united in our opposition to the attempts of Iranian intelligence services to kill, kidnap, and harm people in Europe and North America, in clear violation of our sovereignty.”
