Save the Children calls on the British government to stop selling arms to Israel.

Save the Children International has condemned the British government's continued arms sales to Israel and called on it to immediately suspend all arms shipments to the country.

The British organization stated in a statement on its X platform on Monday that Israeli attacks targeting Palestinians on Sunday as they waited for water resulted in the deaths of six children.

She explained that the British people will not remain silent regarding their government's continued arms transfers and collusion with Israel.

"The British government must immediately suspend all arms shipments to Israel, including F-35 fighter jet parts used to kill and maim children," she added.

On Sunday, Israel killed 120 Palestinians, including children, waiting for water, and injured 557 others, according to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, as part of the genocide it has been perpetrating for 21 months.

The government media office in the Gaza Strip said on Monday that Israel is waging a systematic war of deprivation, committing 112 massacres against water-filling queues, resulting in the deaths of more than 700 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children, since October 7, 2023.

Since last March, municipalities in the Gaza Strip have warned of a catastrophic water crisis due to the depletion of fuel needed to operate the few functioning wells and the deliberate destruction of water infrastructure.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The genocide, with American support, left more than 196,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
