Medical sources announced on Saturday that the number of children killed by hunger and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip has risen to 66. This comes amid the ongoing blockade, the closure of crossings, food shortages, and the ban on the import of baby formula and nutritional supplements for vulnerable and vulnerable groups, especially infants and the sick.
It's worth noting that the World Health Organization announced this morning that approximately 112 children have been admitted to hospitals in the Gaza Strip every day for treatment for malnutrition since the beginning of the year, due to the stifling Israeli blockade.
Of the 36 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, 17 are partially functioning, and there is no hospital in northern Gaza or in Rafah in the south.
