The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced today, Thursday, the postponement of the start of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) in halls located in Jerusalem until next Monday.
Ministry spokesman Sadiq al-Khudur confirmed to WAFA that high school exams for halls located outside the borders of Jerusalem will remain as scheduled, starting on Saturday morning, June 21, 2025.
He added that exams for halls located within the city of Jerusalem will begin on Monday morning, June 23, 2025, according to the announced Arabic language program, while the religious education exam will be scheduled later.
The Ministry wished the students success and stressed the need to follow up on its announcements as soon as possible.
It is noteworthy that there are 43 halls for high school exams in the Jerusalem Directorate, 12 of which will begin on Saturday, while exams will begin in 32 halls on Monday.
