Iranian missile strike on Tel Aviv and Haifa: 8 dead, dozens injured, and widespread destruction

Iran launched a massive missile attack early Monday morning against multiple sites inside Israel, using dozens of missiles that caused extensive material damage, including the destruction of residential and commercial buildings in the Haifa and Tel Aviv areas.

According to initial estimates by Israeli ambulance services, eight people were killed and approximately 94 injured in the attack, most of them with minor injuries, while two were described as moderately injured and one as critical.

This escalation comes amid Israeli airstrikes targeting Iranian sites in several areas, amid ongoing attempts to target sensitive military sites, including nuclear facilities.

The region witnessed an unprecedented escalation on Sunday, with Iran launching new batches of missiles at targets inside Israel, resulting in the deaths of 13 people, including nine in Bat Yam, adjacent to Tel Aviv, and more than 200 others injured, in addition to a number of missing persons, and four women killed in the city of Tamra in the Galilee, bringing the death toll since Friday to 18.
