Trump: I will make a peace agreement between Iran and Tel Aviv, just as I did with India and Pakistan.

US President Donald Trump said that Iran and Israel must reach a peace agreement, noting that numerous contacts and meetings are currently underway in this regard.

Trump added in a statement, "I am confident that we will soon reach an agreement between Iran and Tel Aviv, as we did previously with India and Pakistan."

Trump stressed that he seeks to play a role in ending the escalating tensions between the two sides, calling for giving peace a chance, adding: "Make the Middle East great again."

Trump tweeted on Truth Social, "Several contacts and meetings are currently being held to discuss ways to achieve peace between Iran and Israel," saying, "I'm doing a lot, and I don't get the credit, but that's okay, people understand. Let's make the Middle East great again!"

Trump criticized his successor, President Joe Biden, for his decisions, saying they "harmed long-term prospects for peace," but he promised to fix things again upon his return to the White House.

These statements come amid escalating tensions in the region, amid international calls to de-escalate the situation and avoid a full-scale conflict.
