Iranian President: Washington is directly involved in Israel's attacks

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday that Israeli attacks that killed military and civilian leaders confirm Tel Aviv's disregard for international law.

In remarks to government ministers, Pezeshkian added that Iran would respond "more decisively and harshly" if Israeli attacks continued.

The Iranian president emphasized that the United States is directly involved in these attacks. He said, "The United States plays a direct role in the Israeli attacks on Iran," noting that an American official told Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi that "Israel does not act without American permission."

"What we are witnessing today is taking place with direct support from Washington, despite its attempts to conceal this in the media," Pezeshkian added.

He concluded by saying, "Iran did not seek war, but it will respond with greater force if the aggression continues, as its armed forces have done so far."
