15 dead since dawn in a series of attacks targeting aid seekers and populated areas in Gaza.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to at least 15 since Monday morning, as a result of shelling and sporadic attacks targeting residential areas and gatherings of citizens waiting for food aid, amid an ongoing escalation.

Eight civilians were killed near an aid distribution center west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. Three others were killed and several others injured when aid seekers were targeted at the Dawla junction in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

The bombing also resulted in the death of a civilian and injuries in the al-Tuffah neighborhood in the eastern part of the city, in addition to three other martyrs in a bombing that targeted civilians in the al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood, while local sources documented the deaths and injuries as a result of targeting with bombs dropped from a "quadcopter" aircraft on the old Gaza Street in the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, an officer, a police officer, and a third civilian were killed, and others were injured, as a result of Israeli shelling targeting a police force while performing its duties in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip last night, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior and National Security on Monday.
