A farmer sustained bruises and wounds on Sunday after being attacked by Israeli occupation soldiers while he was on his land in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
Mahmoud Abdullah, a member of the Agricultural Cooperative Society in Al-Khader, reported that the occupation forces and a settler stormed the “Sahl Al-Rujum” area, near the intersection leading to the “Efrat” settlement to the south, and assaulted the citizen Khaled Muhammad Yaqoub Subaih (63 years old) while he was on his land with his wife and daughter.
Abdullah added that the occupation forces detained Subaih's wife and daughter for some time, then took him to the vicinity of the Daniel settlement before releasing him, leaving him alone, suffering from his injury, until he was transferred to a hospital in Bethlehem.
It's worth noting that since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, farmers in the town of Al-Khader have been prevented from accessing their lands. They have been assaulted, arrested, and their crops confiscated.
