Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said that Israel's operations against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have reached "unacceptable proportions," calling for an immediate halt and the protection of civilians.
Meloni affirmed in a press statement Thursday evening that Italy believes that "Israel's response has reached unacceptable levels, and it must stop immediately and protect civilians."
She pointed out that Italy is among the countries that provide the largest amount of aid to Palestinians in Gaza.
