The Israeli occupation raises the travel warning level for its citizens to Canada to Level 2.

Israel's National Security Council announced on Sunday that it had raised its travel warning for its citizens to Canada from Level 1 (no warning) to Level 2, due to what it described as "escalating threats against Israelis and Jews in Canada."

The statement, published by the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz, stated that "over the past year and a half, several attacks have been recorded in Canada on Jewish institutions and sites, including shootings, Molotov cocktails, and direct threats against Israelis and Jews, which necessitated raising the alert level."

The Council called on Israelis in or traveling to Canada to take strict precautions, specifically avoiding displaying Israeli or Jewish symbols in public and refraining from engaging in anti-Israel demonstrations.

He noted that anti-Israel demonstrations will be held on Sunday in the Canadian cities of Toronto and Waterloo.

Recently, demonstrations against the Israeli war of extermination in the Gaza Strip have escalated in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 176,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
