Israeli occupation forces continued their home demolitions in the Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarm, on Wednesday, as the ongoing aggression against the camp continues for the 95th consecutive day.

According to local sources, Israeli bulldozers continued to demolish residential buildings around the Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Mosque in the center of the camp. A tight siege was imposed on the area, and infantry units were deployed extensively. The soldiers fired live ammunition at civilians and journalists who were in the wooded area opposite the camp to observe the unfolding events.

This escalation comes in implementation of the occupation's plan to demolish 106 buildings and homes in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, which was announced two weeks ago and began implementation last week in Nur Shams camp.

According to local estimates, the number of buildings demolished by Israeli bulldozers over the past week has reached 20, including the apartments they housed. Other homes were also destroyed, after their residents were forcibly displaced during the ongoing aggression.
