Israeli occupation forces detained dozens of teachers at the Hamra military checkpoint on Wednesday, preventing them from reaching schools in the Jordan Valley.
Azmi Balawneh, Director of Education in Tubas and the Jordan Valley, reported that the occupation forces are detaining approximately 100 teachers at the Hamra military checkpoint, preventing them from reaching their schools in the Jordan Valley.
He explained that this significantly disrupts the educational process, as teachers are frequently denied access.
The checkpoints leading to the Jordan Valley (Hamra and Tayasir) have been subject to repeated military reinforcements and closures for two years, negatively impacting all aspects of life.
