The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed on Saturday that "Palestinians are dying in the Gaza Strip, which has been under a complete Israeli blockade for the third consecutive month," as part of a genocide that has been ongoing for more than a year and a half.
The OCHA office said in a statement posted on its X account that 70% of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are located within areas where Israeli forces are present, under evacuation orders, or both.
He stressed that the United Nations and its partners are ready to intensify aid to the Gaza Strip as soon as the Israeli blockade, which has been in place since March 2, is lifted.
