Dead and wounded in the Gaza Strip

A number of civilians were killed and others injured on Friday in a series of raids and artillery shelling launched by the Israeli occupation forces on various areas of the Gaza Strip.


In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of the town of Beit Lahia, causing material damage and panic among residents.


In Gaza City, young man Diaa Jihad Ibrahim Tayeh died of wounds he sustained in a previous attack on Al-Karama School in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city.


Another citizen was killed when a drone targeted the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of the city.


In Khan Yunis Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, Civil Defense crews recovered the body of 3-month-old Mohammed Hisham Sobhi Shihab from under the rubble of his family's home, which was bombed two days earlier in the Al-Zana area. His parents were killed in the same bombing, and his two brothers were injured.


Citizen Baraa Majdi al-Agha was also killed and others were injured in a drone strike targeting a group of citizens near the Islamic University east of Khan Yunis.


In the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, occupation forces blew up a number of residential buildings in the city center, causing widespread property damage.
