Postponement of handing over Israeli prisoners.. The occupation reinforces its forces in Gaza and its surroundings

The Israeli army announced raising its state of readiness, suspending the leave of combat forces, and the operational systems in the Southern Command in Gaza.

This came a few hours after the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, announced the postponement of the handover of the Israeli prisoners, who were scheduled to be released next Saturday, due to the occupation’s failure to abide by the terms of the relief.

According to the army statement issued before midnight on Monday, "it was decided to send large reinforcements to the forces in the security missions in the region, as this measure will contribute to strengthening the security situation in the region, and the forces' readiness for different scenarios there."
