Smotrich: We have been working on the Gaza displacement plan for months

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich revealed that secret discussions had been going on for months regarding a plan to displace Gaza residents, noting that the previous US administration had prevented it from being made public.

In an interview with the “120 and One” podcast, Smotrich said: “We have been working on this for several months, but it could not be presented during the Biden administration for fear of an international decision preventing its implementation.”

He added: “With the support of the current US President, we can get two million Palestinians out of Gaza to help them start a new life elsewhere, which is the only solution to achieve peace and security for Israel, and improve the lives of these residents.”
